Flea markets are one of my favorite places to go. I chanced on this retro Singer at a recent one and fell in love with it. It reminds me of my grandma’s that’s still back home in the Philippines. Unfortunately, I had to walk away because my current machine works fine and I’d have no space for it. But it continues to be the stuff of my crafty dreams. Vintage=love!

My aunt also had that. I’m wondering where she’s keeping the vintage now. It’s indeed classic.

My husband’s grandma is moving out of the farm she’s lived in for forever. They asked if there was anything from the house we wanted. I spied an old school sewing machine, table and all, that I wanted to save. But how was I supposed to move it from Wisconsin to California? Had to pass. Too bad. We had one of those at my Inay’s house in Cabuyao. Would have made a good table by the front door.
