Saturday night had Los Angeles dressed as drag queens, slutty nurses and everything else in between, but we were too lazy to go out in costume. It was fun working on pumpkins, though! I decided to make one with a monster cupcake on it.
The only part I hate about pumpkin carving is taking the goop out. I’m very anti-anything mushy and actually really get grossed out by slimy seeds. But I persevered, haha!

E. put together a cupcake silhouette and a jack-o-lantern face that I picked out. Here it is on the pumpkin–came out better than I expected!

And here’s E.’s Pacman-ghost pumpkin, looking a bit scared of my cupcake monster. His actually involved more work than mine–his pumpkin’s flesh was so thick that he had to scrape it down a lot to get the light to shine through.

Aren’t they kitchen-and-tech-geekdorky? Haha!

Hope your scary holiday was boo-tiful! (That was SO cheesy, but I couldn’t think of anything else. So there!)
See you tomorrow! I’ll be blogging about my big Halloween cupcake fail. (Oh, the tragedy!)
